Training description

The Haute École Albert Jacquard offers a programme which is compliant with the institutional framework of the basic school education. During their programme, the students learn to know the reference documents and get prepared in order to teach different learnings, with children aged from 6 to 12.

The society became heterogenous, school population is varying and schools are welcoming different students (origin or social or cultural backgrounds). This interbreeding represents an undisputable richness as much as it represents an unavoidable challenge. Indeed, helping each child to develop himself/herself as a future citizen needs expertise: this is the reason why the goal of our programme is to train pluralistic teachers who are creative, open to the difference and to the innovation, active and reflexive, rejecting any dogma thanks to a rational mind based on the free examination.

Trained that way, our students will become teachers who are capable of teaching with passion in a profession which is continually evolving in very different but often new circumstances.
